The CONTA-CON plug-in connector system essenti- ally consists of two components; an element fixed to the P.C. board [header] and a plug-in element [connector].
As to the connectors you can choose from the following connection principles: wire-protection-, strain-relief-clamp-, spring-, leg-spring- and eccentric-top-principle. CONTA-CON plug-in connectors offer an extensive product mix and thus conse- quently a lot of combination possibilities.
Connectors and headers with the same spacing are plug-in compatible. The features of this design are an excellent operating convenience and butt mounting and coding possibilities without the loss of poles. Headers are available in the following design: open | closed side wall, single level | double level design, horizontal | vertical connection and with | without screw flange. Available accessories comprise coding stars, single shrouding for each terminal connection, filler plugs for each header contact and marking systems.
